Free-range horse riding is suitable for experienced riders who are confident with their horse and who wish to explore the valley at their own pace.

Your ride will commence with instruction on control and management of your horse before heading out to ride the trails at your own pace.

Free-range horse riding is suitable for those who are proficient riders, are confident with their horse and who have ridden at least 50 times previously. The safety of our riders is paramount so please note that the final decision on a rider’s capability is at the discretion of the Yard Manager.

4 hour horse riding is perfect for those who want to spend a bit more time in the saddle. You will enjoy a 2 hour trail ride followed by a small break to enjoy another 2 hour trail.

Our guided horse riding is suitable for all abilities. You’ll receive instruction on how to control and manage your horse and our experienced and friendly horse riding guides will accompany you on your ride.

4 and 6 hour packages must be completed on the same day. 6 hour packages are available on weekends only. 4 and 6 hour packages are not available on public holidays and long weekends.

2 x 2 hour rides - Not available on long weekends & public holidays

- The minimum age for free-range riding is 14 years.
- Rider weight restrictions of 105kgs apply.
- All free range riders are assessed on the day. Even the most competent rider will be with the group for the first 20
minutes.
- Please note helmets are compulsory for all riders. You are welcome to bring your own horse riding helmet.
- Helmet hire is free of charge for all children

6 hour horse riding is for those who LOVE horse riding and would like to make a day of it. Your journey will be broken up into three 2 hour rides where you can enjoy the same or different horses during the day. 6 hours isn’t recommended for beginners.
