Secrets of the Daintree 24/25

Traveling north through historic sugar cane fields, our adventure begins when we cross the Daintree River cable Ferry, where we enter the Cape Tribulation section of the Daintree National Park.
Our first stop is the Alexandra Range Lookout, where you'll be amazed by the breathtaking view over the Coral Sea. As we wind our way through the rainforest, keep your eyes peeled for some of the Daintree's most elusive creatures, including Cassowary, Forest Dragons, and even Buff Breasted Paradise Kingfishers.
Arriving at Cooper Creek Wilderness, a hidden gem far removed from the "tourist" trail. The owners, who have grown up on the property, will guide you on a 2-hour walk through a secluded and generally unseen part of the Daintree. The highlight of the tour is the incredible Fan Palm Gallery, which holds secrets that have been hidden for millions of years.
After our walk, we'll enjoy a peaceful lunch in this stunning setting and take a refreshing swim in a safe rainforest river. Or, if you prefer, simply relax and soak up the tranquility of this unique and precious environment.
Following lunch, we'll stop off for some delicious Ice-cream, made from locally sourced ingredients that reflects the region's rich flavours and secrets.
Finally, we'll embark on a one-hour wildlife cruise on the mighty Daintree River, where we'll explore the secrets of the river's ecosystem and spot some of its most elusive inhabitants. Keep an eye out for the Saltwater Estuarine Crocodile, rainforest frogs, birdlife, and flying fruit bats.
We hope you enjoy this unforgettable journey of discovery through the Secrets of the Daintree.
