Mossman Gorge Adventure Day

Immerse yourself in a rainforest experience like no other!

Beginning the day at Mossman Gorge with a traditional Kuku Yalanji smoking ceremony ; where you’ll be cleansed of bad spirits and have traditional rainforest body paint applied.

Exploring the Daintree National Park at an easy pace, this interpretive 1.5hr walk, will leave you with a deeper understanding of this breath-taking rainforest.

After a well earned lunch, travel to a secret location on the Mossman River for our one of a kind River Drift Snorkelling tour; searching for turtles, water dragons and the elusive platypus .

Daintree Adventure Day 24/25

Your personal guide and vehicle will be waiting for you at your accommodation this morning to embark on an exciting Daintree Adventure Day tour.
It is advisable to bring appropriate footwear for walking on uneven terrain, a hat, sunglasses, swimwear, and a towel.
Begin your day at 7:00am to experience the Daintree Rainforest without the crowds. As you journey through sugar cane country, a cable car ferry will transport you into the World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest, one of the most ecologically unique areas on the planet. Take in the stunning views of the Coral Sea from the Alexandra Range Lookout before continuing your adventure.
Keep an eye out for the endangered Cassowary as you drive deeper into the heart of the Daintree Rainforest. Arriving in Cape Tribulation, it's time for your TreeTops Adventures. This exhilarating experience includes a zipline tour through the rainforest canopy with three ziplines ranging from 15 to 130m. Admire the incredible scenery from the 8m high enclosed 360-degree viewing platform and enjoy an easy treetop walk with bridges, cables, and nets that fully immerse you in the rainforest canopy. The course ends with a spectacular dual zipline.
After the thrill of the zipline, enjoy a restaurant lunch amidst the beautiful surroundings. Take a leisurely walk through a nearby rainforest trail and keep an eye out for rare sightings of Cassowary, Boyd's Forest Dragons, and Buff Breasted Paradise Kingfishers. Take a refreshing dip in a crystal-clear waterhole surrounded by lush rainforest (optional).
Conclude your day with a one-hour wildlife cruise on the Daintree River. Observe local wildlife such as the Saltwater Estuarine Crocodile, rainforest frogs, birdlife, and flying fruit bats.

Coast to Canopy tour 24/25

Embark on an unforgettable day exploring the beach and rainforest with your private guide and vehicle.
It is advisable to bring beach shoes and comfortable clothing for walking through the water and mudflats.
As well as a hat, sunglasses, swimwear, and a towel.


Begin your day with a short drive to Cooya Beach (Kuku Kuku) where you will be welcomed by a First
Nations Custodian. They will share their cultural heritage and practices that are still continued on this
traditional homeland.
After an introduction to the traditional fishing activity of spear throwing and handling, follow your guide
with spear in hand along Cooya beach, observing cultural medicine and food plants. Your guide will also
take you along for their daily spear fishing and gathering for their families in the mangroves and mudflats.
Return with the guides to see Kuku Yalanji artefacts and hear stories from their traditional lands before
continuing to the award-winning Mossman Gorge Visitor Centre.


Wander into the lush rainforest of the World Heritage Listed Daintree National Park - Mossman Gorge and
experience one of the world's oldest and most beautiful rainforests. Your guide will explain the rich flora,
fauna, and ecosystem of this amazing rainforest on an easy-going 2km walk across boardwalks, tracks, and
bridges.


After an optional swim in the Mossman Gorge, we head to lunch.


This afternoon, embark on a River Drift Snorkelling adventure! Your river-trained guides will assist you in
getting fitted out with a wetsuit, boots, and snorkel mask. Explore the crystal-clear waters of this beautiful
rainforest river, keeping an eye out for turtles and the elusive platypus. More than 30 species of fish live in
this river, so you're sure to spot many.


After drifting along under the rainforest canopy, it's time to say goodbye to the river and head back to
your accommodation.


This itinerary may operate in reverse due to availability.
