The Bell Tower Experience Tour
The towering glass spire of the Bell Tower is located where Perth meets the Swan River in vibrant Barrack Square and is a touchstone for Australian and international tourists. The Bell Tower is one of the largest musical instruments in the world and was custom built to house the historically significant bells (made in 1725) of the Saint Martin in the Fields church, the parish church of Buckingham Palace in Trafalgar Square, London.

The Bell Tower is open 10am - 4pm (last entry 3.45pm) and can often close early (3pm onwards) due to private functions. Please phone or email ahead if your plan on visiting during these times to ensure the Bell Tower will be open.
Recommended by staff: We recommend timing your visit on a Thursday, so you can see the bells ring by the professionals between 12pm and 1pm and listen to the new 6,500kg ANZAC Bell ring at 12pm for one minute. The ANZAC Bell Tour is the small group premium tour at the Bell Tower. Find out about the meaning of the 6,500kg ANZAC Bell and witness it ring at midday.
Starting on level 1, you will step behind the scenes into the ringing chamber to chime the ancient bells with your experienced tour guide. You will also learn about the history of the ANZAC Bell before following your tour guide to level 5, where you will see the powerful 6,500kg ANZAC Bell ring at midday.
