The Pinnacles are among the most visited natural wonders of the state. Thousands of limestone pillars rise out of a stark landscape of yellow sand. Day 1 Penguin – Seal Island Your morning will begin with a pick-up from your accommodation, from where you will be taken to Rockingham. Here we meet our experienced and qualified guide for the day. Paddling a sea kayak is a unique and intimate way to explore Penguin & Seal Islands. Get up close and personal with the sea lions, cruise past colonies of pelicans and take in the rugged beauty of the islands. Sometimes we even see the dolphins! Meet the little penguins in the Penguin Island discovery centre. During the warmer summer months, December to March, your guide will take you on a guided walk and snorkelling. It’s a fun filled day suitable for beginners and advanced paddlers. After this adventure, a leisurely drive back to your hotel, where the tour ends mid-afternoon.

Day 1 Quokkas Delight – Rottnest Island After pick-up at your hotel, you will be transferred to the departure point in South Perth. Our means of transport: A luxurious Cessna Caravan aircraft! The start so close to the city on the Swan River is a first-class experience. Enjoy the short flight to the island with breathtaking views of and the impressive Perth skyline, the colourful coastline of the Indian Ocean and the holiday island of Rottnest Island. The island awaits you with its raw coastline, limestone cliffs, salt lakes and picturesque coves. Rottnest Island can be explored best by bicycle because the traffic is strictly limited. You will come into contact with a unique flora and faune and of course with those quokkas so well known for this island. In the late afternoon you say goodbye to this interesting nature reserve. Enjoy the crossing back to the mainland and the comfortable and safe trip back up the Swan River to Perth City. Enjoy glorious views along the River. ITINERARY

Day 1 Perth – Margaret River
The leisurely drive south takes you past places like Mandurah and Bunbury. In Busselton we visit the longest longest timber-piled jetty in the southern hemisphere. The region around Margaret River, one of the most famous and best wine growing areas in Australia, welcomes us with its Mediterranean climate and relaxed atmosphere. Here we have the opportunity for a delicious wine tasting followed by lunch at a renowned winery. After a second wine tasting on a neighbouring winery we admire the fascinating coastal section of the Canal Rocks.


Day 2 Margaret River – Perth
The scenic “Caves Road” takes us through Boranup Forest’s pale-barked Karri Trees to Cape Leeuwin, Australia’s most south-westerly point. This is the point where the Indian and Southern Ocean meet. The Cape is known for its rough westerly winds – called “roaring forties” by the locals – during the colder winter months. This is the point where the Indian and Southern Ocean meet. From here the nearest landmass is Africa to the west and Antarctica to the south. After a visit to the picturesque Hamelin Bay, drive to Yallingup, the northern end of the Cape to Cape region. We enter the cool but interesting atmosphere of the Ngilgi Cave with its countless limestone formations. Pleasant return journey to Perth.
