PADI Discover Scuba Dive Experience
All PADI Discover Scuba Experience participants will receive a discount if enrolling in the PADI Open Water course within 6 months of the completion of their DSD.
What is a DSD...
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience (known as DSD) is an introduction to scuba diving.
Participation in a PADI DSD will provide you with the basic knowledge and practical skills to ensure you are comfortable and safe whilst experiencing scuba diving for the first time.
In shallow water to allow you to build your confidence to begin, your PADI Professional will instruct you on how to use your scuba kit. They will continue on with hand signals for underwater recognition and teach you some basic practical skills required for diving.
When deemed ready, with your Instructor by your side you will move on to explore the magic of the underwater world with your dive/s.
The Discover scuba dive experience is a great first step for someone who is thinking of pursuing a scuba diver or Open water diver certification but may want to try it before committing to a longer course.
It also makes a generous gift idea for someone who is keen to try something a little different.

Price Structure
1 dive DSD for $ 295.00 (1 Student-1 dive-4 hour session)
Maximum of 4 divers, with each extra participant costed at $125.00 each
2 dive DSD for $395.00 (1 student-2 dives- 6 hour session)
Maximum of 4 divers, with each extra participant costed at $165.00 each
Duration of session includes paperwork completion, gear selection and cleaning, site and safety briefs, all tuition and dives.
Full gear hire and cylinders included.

This is the course that will begin your underwater journey.
The PADI Open water certification will allow you to dive to a depth of 18 m and is a world recognised dive certification.
Become a fully qualified PADI Open Water Diver in just 2 days.
Course flexibility to suit your schedule.
Included in the PADI Open Water Diver Course
PADI eLearning Access to the PADI app and digital log book Pool entry fees (where required) Hire of all equipment required (All gear under 12 months old) All cylinder fills for the entire course PADI Open Water Certification and E-Card Project AWARE Donation Tuition
Scuba Addiction also offer private one on one instruction with either a highly trained female or male instructor that will solely focus on your dive needs. Sometimes we have students that suffer from high anxiety and one on one instruction helps to ease the students mindset, combined with working at the student's own pace.
