The day in summary :

With you in the driver’s seat, our friendly and experienced instructors will be with you in the Mini Cooper to help you master each of the following stunt driving exercises:

1. 180 Degree handbrake turn parallel spin parking
2. Multiple 360 degree spins on our unique Split Surface System
3. Ramp-to-ramp jumps on our 50 foot long jump ramps
4. Finally we’ll take you for a wild ride on two wheels in our two wheeling car
5. You'll also receive a certificate of completion.

Best of all, you don't need any previous experience!

Participant Requirements:

1. We supply cars, safety equipment, and professional instructors.
2. Helmets are provided however, you are welcome to bring your own helmet providing it meets current safety standards.
3. You must hold a current drivers license (P Plates are OK), which must be produced prior to commencing the course.
4. All participants will be required to sign an indemnity prior to commencing the practical component of the course.
5. You should be reasonably competent in operating a manual transmission.

Our Track Days are run at Sandown International Raceway, just 20min from Melbourne.

We provide qualified high performance driving instructors, safety crew including a fully equipped First Intervention Vehicle (FIV), flag marshals, lunch and refreshments. You get a minimum of 20 minutes of free lapping time per hour, and you can have as much professional high performance driver training as you like.

Course Summary

1. Drivers must be licensed and provide their own vehicle for this course.
2. Course commences at 8.30 am and concludes at around 4.00 pm.
3. Cost : $350

5. Cars must conform to 75db sound limits
6. Drivers must bring their own Australian Safety Standards approved helmet – Driver Dynamics can provide a helmet at extra cost.
7. Not suitable if pregnant

The Track Day includes:

3. Flag marshals

Driver Dynamics offers 4WD training in Melbourne at Sandown Raceway.
This facility is located less than 25 minutes drive from the Melbourne CBD, and is the same facility used by many major vehicle manufacturers to demonstrate their vehicles.

You can use this program to increase your knowledge of four wheel driving, or even if you have no desire to ever go off-roading but would just like to spend a day discovering the capabilities of your Four Wheel Drive vehicle. This is not a ‘Hard Core’ off road driving program.

Course Summary

1. Drivers must be licensed and provide their own vehicle for this course
2. This program is offered as a half day or full day course for both private individuals and company employees on weekends and weekdays
3. A course certificate is issued on completion of the course
4. This course can also be conducted in regional areas
5. The course starts at 9.00 AM and concludes at approximately 4.00 PM.
6. Lunch is not provided however refreshments are provided throughout the day.

This program focuses on the safe operation of off-road vehicles in a range of conditions:

1. Negotiating steep slopes and rugged terrain – ascending and descending
2. Emergency procedures – stall/stop and restart on slope
3. Introduction to recovery equipment
4. Correct use of the four-wheel drive transmission
5. Limitations of 4WD/AWD vehicles
6. Analyzing terrain, surfaces and hazards
7. Environment and vehicle sympathy

Covers basic off-road safety concepts and the key principals of terrain driving including: An easy to understand look at the workings of a four-wheel / all-wheel drive vehicle.
