This dive is purely for pleasure. Besides seeing beautiful and fascinating aquatic creatures first hand, You will be swimming amongst the Gold Coasts many species of fish having the opportunity to hand feed them.
We are only too happy to pick you up from your Gold Coast accommodation, dropping you back later. Boarding our boat ‘Discover’ at the lovely Marina Mirage, we travel approx’ 10 minutes north by boat through the Gold Coast waters to the beautiful Wave Break Island. Leaving the boat we head to the island, where we get comfortable wearing & using our SCUBA equipment in the calm shallow waters before heading off on your underwater safari. After you surface we have snorkel gear aboard & you can take off for a relaxing snorkel or simply lounge about on our boat & enjoy light refreshments. A certificate is awarded to every diver and this experience will expand your mind, giving you an insight into the goings on of the Gold Coasts underwater world. The PADI Advanced Open Water training offers something for everyone. It takes you to greater depths, unforgettable wrecks fascinating night dives and guides you through the importance of navigation. There are 5 dives involving 3 core dives and 2 elective dives.

The Rescue Diver course makes the serious subject of accident prevention and management enjoyable and rewarding. Until now the emphasis of your training has been on you and your dive buddy; the Rescue Diver course teaches you to make diving more safe and enjoyable for others.
• Academic Training – Gives you the knowledge to prevent and manage potential diving accidents.
• Open Water training – Consists of 12 different emergency scenarios, from tired diver to handling possible emergencies involving the use of oxygen kits and marine radios.
Upon successful completion of this course you will be awarded with the PADI Rescue Diver certification. The Rescue Diver certification is also recommended for college credit by American Council on Education, and meets the education standards and requirements for credit at the college level

As a PADI Divemaster you’re someone who serves other divers by solving problems, giving advice, and lending a hand to make diving more fun.
The course consists of 3 modules
1. Knowledge Development – you will cover 12 topics through independent study giving you a deeper understanding of SCUBA diving.
2. Water Skills & Stamina – during this module you will have several timed swims and will refine basic SCUBA skills so you can role model beginners to scuba diving.
3. Practical Application – you will apply what you learnt through the knowledge development and water skills & stamina modules.
Prerequisites
• Be certified as Advance Open Water, Advance Plus or equivalent and PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent.
• Have logged 20 dives to start training, and have 60 dives for certification.
• Be at least 18 years old at the start of the course.
• Have current (i.e. within the last 12 months) medical clearance for diving.
