Learn to ride with Woodlands Riding School! We will help you develop confidence and competency in the saddle, so that you can enjoy general horse riding activities! It's never too early or late to learn! Suitable for 4 years of age through to adult! This session will be facilitated in groups of up to 3 riders per coach. All group participants will be matched with similar learning abilities. By attending a general lesson, this will provide flexibility to attend a session without the added commitment of term structured lessons.

The standard package includes: A 45 minute session getting to know your pony/horse from the ground and riding lesson with our instructors, followed by a 45 minute trail riding tour amidst the farmlands at Woodlands Lodge! **You will need to allow up to 2.5 hours for this session from end to end, it will be at the instructors' discretion to assess competency of each participants at time of ride, and may result in more of a horsemanship session than riding for safety and enjoyment for everyone.**

Allow your child to get in to the School Holiday spirit by attending Woodlands School Holiday Program! This is a great opportunity for your child to participate in 3 hours of enjoyment, where they will learn all about horses and riding in a safe environment! Your child will receive guided coaching and support, whilst they grow their confidence around horses, develop their horsemanship, riding skills and participate in a trail ride!

The program is suitable for beginners through to intermediate level competency. Attendees are matched in to groups relevant to age and experience level.

Learn to horse and ride in a group of up to 3 for an entire 10 session term! It's never too early or late to learn! Our sessions are suitable for ages 5 years through to adult. You'll be offered diversity in your learning experiences with us. Your term sessions will consist of both unmounted and mounted horsemanship, with exposure to both English and Western riding disciplines.
Your first session will be one on one with your coach who will assess your competency. Based on this assessment, you will be grouped in to smaller classes with participants of a similar level, progressing through a learning curriculum designed to develop your confidence and competence both around horses and in the saddle!
