90 minutes Swan River Tour - Kings Park and Realfront Real Estate

Running out under the Elizabeth Quay bridge we travel across the face of the City of Perth City under the freeway along beautiful Kings Park following the contours of Mounts Bay Road.

We then venture around Matilda Bay and Pelican Point and along Millionaire's Row along Nedlands and Dalkeith. We then run up the eastern side of the Karrakatta Bank to Claremont and Peppermint Grove where you will be informed at the exact location of a fatal shark attack in 1926.
The boat will idle around the shallows under the cliffs at Peppermint Grove where passengers will get a chance to view and also be informed of the marine life below.
The tour will then venture into Mosman bay where clients will see "close up" two of Perths and indeed Australia's most incredible houses before venturing back to Elizabeth Quay following the Southern bank past the suburbs of Attadale, Alfred Cove and Applecross and Como.
The Swan River dolphins are often found on this cruise as a lot of the river is covered to locate the wild dolphin pod, the views from Melville Water of Kings park and the CBD are also a visual highlight of the 80 minutes Swan River Tour - Kings Park and Realfront Real Estate.

4 HOUR RETURN – CARNAC ISLAND ECO TOUR

"CARNAC ISLAND RIVER - OCEAN ECO ADVENTURE TOUR"
EACH OF “WILD WEST CHARTERS” TOURS HAS A DESTINATION – AND NONE IS
BETTER THAN “CARNAC ISLAND” STEEPED IN HISTORY, CONTROVERSY AND AMAZING
WILDLIFE.
NOT ONLY IS THIS TOUR OUR “SIGNATURE TRIP” THE CARNAC ISLAND RIVER - OCEAN ECO
ADVENTURE TOUR IS OUR "PRIDE AND JOY!"
WITH OUT DOUBT THIS IS ONE OF PERTHS MOST UNIQUE AND EXCITING ADVENTURE
TOURS. THE RETURN TRIP FROM ELIZABETH QUAY COVERS OVER 70 KILOMETERS BY RIVER
AND BY SEA FROM THE INNER CITY AND BACK.
Requires a mininmun of 8 for departure – Maximum of 12 people.
Tour time – 4 hours

The Carnac Island Ocean Eco Tour is subject to sea and weather
conditions – full refund will be given in the event of a cancellation due to
weather.
Carnac
Island is situated 10 kilometres south-west of Fremantle and 35 kilometers from
Elizabeth Quay by river and by sea. The Island encompasses about 19 hectares
and has been an “A” class nature reserve since 1963. The Island paradise is
managed by The Departmnt of Parks and Wildlife (DPAW) and provides an important
habitat for a variety of local and migratory wildlife including seabirds tiger
snakes, king skinks and the rare Australian Sea Lion.
Hunted
to near extinction the Australian Sea Lion is amongst the rarest of all the
worlds seal species, the males can reach 300 kilograms in weight. It is
actually only the males that are found on Carnac Islands they use the eastern
shore as a “haul Out” area to rest and recuperate energy after long journeys
foraging for food up and down the Western Australian coast line.
With
respect to the crucial rest periods of these wild animals Wild West Charters
will take you in for a visual encounter with these amazing and inqusitive
animals in the eastern cove on the beach just inside Currie Point to view them
from our vessel. Often there will be one or more of these curious animals
frolicking in the “emerald shallow waters” on the lee side of the Island
protected from the offshore winds and swell and it will be this encounter that
will leave you touched as playful and curious by nature they will come up to
the boat for all onboard to view “ a totally wild experience” – Hence our
name “WILD WEST CHARTERS”
Allocate 4 hours for this round trip, the eco adventure tour departs Elizabeth
Quay and straight away the stunningly visual aspects are apparent of the tour
as our vessel heads west past the CBD and Kings Park and all of the exclusive
real estate along the rivers banks before entering Fremantle Harbour. You never
know what vessels you may observe secured to the wharfs, on the northern side
you will almost certainly see the monstrous container ships getting loaded or
unloaded with the massive container cranes as we cruise past out to the open
ocean.
When
the tide is running the Swan River dolphins can often be observed feeding just
west of the Fremantle traffic bridge. The river water clarity slowly improves
the further the tour ventures west. From a murky estuary to clear oceanic water
inside the harbour then too truly emerald clear water above the shallow white
sand on the eastern side of Carnac Island. The sea lions will be able to be
observed as soon as we get inside Currie Point just to the south resting on the
sandy beach and quite often there will be one or more of these animals
frolicing in the waters and they will generally come right over to visit us on
the side of the boat. After viewing the sea lions if sea conditions permit a
circumnavigation of the Island is conducted before heading into Fremantle’s
Fishermans harbour for a toilet stop and an early lunch and short walk around.
Once
back on board we head back out of the fisherman’s harbour into the open ocean
again and then back into Fremantle Port and return to Elizabeth Quay.
