Our Harvest the Hunter Horse and Carriage Wine Tour is a unique way to experience the Hunter Valley with it's beautiful scenery and award winning wine and produce. If you want to fit as much into your visit to the Hunter Valley as you can, this is the perfect tour - it runs for 3 hours and you'll never want it to end. This tour runs twice daily starting at 10am or 1pm.
This tour includes, tastings at 3 venues as well as a visit to The Pokolbin Olive Centre to taste olive oil products and other fine condiments.
The venues we visit are dependant on availability and may include Pokolbin Estate, Tamburlaine Organic Wines, McGuigan's Wines, Small Mouth Vodka, or Pokolbin Village Cheese and Chocolate. Most of our venues provide our groups with private sit-down tastings where you will learn about the processes involved in making these beautiful wines and spirits.

Our carriages are completely covered and have padded seats, ensuring you stay comfortable during your tour. In the event of wet weather we even have drop down see-through curtains on all of our carriages meaning no last minute cancellations. This tour allows you to completely immerse yourself in the experience of tasting some of our amazing Hunter Valley wines.
Enjoy the clean country air as you are taken through local backroads and vineyards from one tasting experience to another by team of our beautiful heavy horses and some of the best tour guides in the valley.
Transfers from local accommodation to the carriage and return available for an additional $25.00 per person (available option at checkout).

Our Taste The Valley Full Day Horse & Carriage wine tour is a unique way to experience the Hunter Valley with is beautiful scenery and award winning wine and produce.


This tour runs from 10.00am, finishes at 4.00pm and includes return transfer from Pokolbin accommodation, 3-4 cellar door visits, lunch at the famous Blaxland Inn * Depending on the date booked visits to The Hunter Olive Centre, chocolate and local cheese vendors may be added. Most of our venues provide our groups with private sit-down tastings where you will learn about the processes involved in making these beautiful wines.
Our carriages are completely covered and have padded seats, ensuring you stay comfortable during your tour. This tour allows you to completely immerse yourself in the experience of tasting some of our amazing Hunter Valley wines without the pressure and worry of who to allocate as designated driver.

This tour runs from 10.00am, finishes at 4.00pm and includes return transfer from Pokolbin accommodation, 4-5 cellar door visits, lunch at an exquisite venue as well as olive, olive product, cheese and chocolate tastings. Enjoy the sights of the valley from your private Cinderella carriage which has padded seats, and drop down see through curtains ensuring your comfort during your tour. Sip on a glass of complementary wine and enjoy the clean country air as you are taken through local backroads and vineyards from one tasting experience to the next by your team of beautiful heavy horses.
An 2-person upgrade to Circa 1876 restaurant is available (Saturday and Sunday) 2-course menu $170.00, 3-course menu $220.00
