Our 2 hour group lessons are designed for kids 7-13 years who want to learn to surf during the school holidays. Give the kids a chance to let loose with us safely in the waves this school holidays – improve their surfing and ocean skills. Our hugely popular school holiday programs run daily during the holiday periods. We have a low student/instructor ratio and will group the kids according to ability. All lessons have been designed by a PE/PD/Health teacher and cover the basics from warm-up to paddling, catching waves and standing while also catering to intermediate students (technique refinement and style improvement).
Your kids will also learn important surf and safety rules including info on rips, tides, sandbars and waves.

All our lessons take place right on main beach Byron bay! We're extremely luck to be the only surf school that offer Byron Bay based kids group lessons.

Enjoy this amazing 2.5 hour SUP tour with the professional and friendly LGS team! We SUP in small groups, starting with important safety information we will cover all of the basics including; warm up, how to stand and control the board, proper stroke and turning techniques, correct posture and positioning, safe entry and exit from the water and most importantly we will have lots of fun.
You will be surrounded by a beautiful natural landscape and have the chance to spot some amazing marine life including: dolphins, fish, seabirds marine plants and sea turtles.This tour is suitable for any fitness level and is a great way to get into nature and enjoy time on the water.
Meet at our Surf Shop in the middle of town and we will transfer you to and from our SUP location, all equipment and expert instruction is included in the price.

Hone your surfing skills with extra attention from a dedicated
personal surf coach. Whether you’re an individual determined to get up
on that wave or a more experienced surfer needing feedback on technique,
our private surf lessons give you that extra attention to detail and a

Your own personal surf instructor will set some goals, determine your
current level and structure the lesson around your ability.

The family that surfs together... is in for some fun! Your family
will have you very own private surf instructor who will help set some

If you have different levels of experience don’t worry we can teach all
comers!

If your family have all been surfing before, we’ll help you move
onto the next steps a lot faster by focusing on technique, board control
and bringing out your natural ability. All while having a great time
