Darling Range Twin Peaks Hike

Sullivan Rock to Mt Cuthbert is arguable one of the best day hike sections of the Bibbulmun Track!
As you ascend Mt Vincent, the views to the South West are stunning and worth stopping to admire. You'll head over the summit of Mt Vincent and back down along the Bibbulmun towards Mt Cuthbert. Not too far into the descent you will be surrounded by lush Jarrah & Ghost Gum forest filled with Banksias and Grass Trees, on a cold wet day this valley feels quite mystical!
As we reach the top of Mt Cuthbert, you will be rewarded with a delicious morning tea and awe-inspiring views of the Monadnocks Conservation Park!
Includes: 10 km guided hike, morning tea, complimentary use of hiking poles, sunscreen, repellent & access to all hike photographs.

Start Point: Please meet at the Sullivan Rock Car Park, Albany Hwy, Mt Cooke. Please arrive 15mins early to ensure a prompt departure.

Four Peaks Endurance Hike

Have you ever wanted to push yourself and conquer steep rocky hills? Are you training for a big trek and need to improve your endurance? Off The Beaten Track WA has just the trick for you! The Four Peaks Endurance Hike will take you up Mt Vincent & Mt Cuthbert tackling steep rocky ascents and decents whilst you take in the stunning views of the Darling Ranges.
We will step up the pace whilst we lead you along the Bibbulmun Track from Sullivan Rock to the peak of Mt Cuthbert, where we will take a short break to take in the views, before kicking on to Monadnocks Campsite. During our hike, we'll take a break to recharge on delicious and nutritious snacks before kicking on to push ourselves over that finish line! All this whilst surrounded by mixed jarrah forest, an abundance of wildflowers and ‘mountain’ views!

Fitness level: This experience is not for the faint hearted. We will be travelling at a decent pace and pushing the limits. A reasonable level of fitness is required. You will be hiking for approximately 16kms over 2 peaks then return - (yep you tackle these peaks twice)!
What to Bring? 2-3ltrs water, camera, a good attitude and big smile! If you are wanting to deepen your training, please carry a pack with 7-10kgs weight.

Mt Cooke Overnight Hike

Taking the next step into overnight hiking can be very rewarding and a lot of fun. It's important to be prepared and feel confident so you have an awesome experience! This is your chance to give overnight hiking a go with our Off The Beaten Track WA guides who will assist you, educate you and answer any questions you may have.

Off The Beaten Track WA will lead you on a hike along the Bibbulmun Track through mixed jarrah forest from Sullivan Rock to Mt Cooke Campsite. After setting up camp at Mt Cooke, you will enjoy dinner to the sound of the black cockatoos song. As the sun goes down we will light the campfire and enjoy the mesmerising flames, warmth and ambience as the cool night air sets in.
On day two we will leave the heavy packs at camp and head on up to the summit of Mt Cooke and hike along the ridge to the illusive Mt Cooke Cave before returning to camp for lunch. We have incorporated all meals into this itinerary to make your equipment list as short as possible. A packing list will be emailed to you upon registration. Further details will be sent to you once your booking is confirmed.

Distance: Total hike distance over 2 days is approximately 20 kms.
Time : Depart 2pm Saturday, return 2pm Sunday.
Includes: 2 days of guided hiking, demo and assistance on correct tent set up and site selection, all meals (dinner, breakfast, lunch), a whole lot of fun!

What to Bring? As a rough guide you will require a tent, sleeping mat, sleeping bag, stove, pots & stove gas, liner, pillow, clothes, toiletries, 3ltrs water, and a pack big enough to put it all in (55-65ltr).
Gear Hire : OTBT has tents, sleeping mats, stove & pot sets, 65ltr backpacks available to hire. Please add gear on the extras page as you move through the booking process. Please note you will be required to pay a refundable bond on hired equipment. The bond fee is dependent on the equipment hired. Equipment can be collected from our "Basecamp" in Serpentine the week of the tour.
