Exmouth Milyering Astronomy Night
Join us for an unforgettable stargazing experience at Milyering Discovery Centre in the Cape Range National Park, Western Australia - a place celebrated for its extraordinary biodiversity, pristine landscapes and naturally dark skies.
On these guided astronomy sessions, our experienced star guides invite you to take a moment, look up and reconnect with the night sky.
Through storytelling, science and telescope viewing, you’ll explore stars, planets and objects far beyond Earth, while learning how people across cultures have understood the sky for thousands of years.
- Guests make their own way to Milyering Discovery Centre, Cape Range National Park, WA, 6707 to meet the star guides on the night.

- Take care when driving on dark roads and look out for wildlife.
- There is ample parking available.
- Meet our friendly star guides at the Ningaloo Stars A-Frame sign near the pathway to the centre.
- Enclosed shoes and sensible clothing are recommended, the nights can get quite cool during autumn and winter months.
- We use red light at the event which does not affect night vision.
- No white lights during the astronomy night please (mobile phone torches/flashlights or similar) as this reduces night vision.
- There are toilets with wheelchair accessibility.
- Please bring water bottles with you if possible. Filtered drinking water is provided and cups are available if needed.
- A safety brief will be provided before the astronomy night begins.
