Journey Through Dreamtime
Dreamtime Cultural Experience – Half-Day
Step into a deeper cultural experience at the Dreamtime Cultural Centre with Warama Culture.
The Dreamtime Cultural Experience is an immersive half-day journey designed for visitors who want to spend meaningful time learning about, participating in and connecting with Aboriginal culture.
Over approximately 3–4 hours, guests will be guided through cultural storytelling, traditional knowledge and the importance of connection to Country. Rather than simply observing, visitors will have opportunities to participate in a selection of hands-on cultural activities and learn about the knowledge, skills and practices that have been shared across generations.
Depending on the day, cultural activities may include boomerang and spear throwing, traditional fire-making, Aboriginal artefacts, didgeridoo and music, cultural storytelling, and other interactive activities.
A highlight of the experience is sharing a traditional kup murri. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the cultural significance and process of preparing food using this traditional cooking method before coming together to enjoy the meal.
Throughout the experience, there is time to yarn, ask questions and engage directly with your cultural facilitator. Our aim is to create a relaxed and genuine experience where visitors leave with a greater understanding and appreciation of Aboriginal culture, Country and community.
No two experiences need to be exactly the same. Activities may vary depending on cultural considerations, weather, group requirements and availability, allowing Warama Culture to provide an authentic and engaging experience for each group.
Duration: Approximately 3–4 hours
Price: $199 per person
Minimum Booking: 7 paying guests
Groups of fewer than seven people may enquire about a private booking; however, the minimum booking value equivalent to seven paying guests may apply.
