Wildflower Festival Bike Tour Kings Park

Join us on a guided bike tour to explore Kings Park and the Botanic Garden during the annual Kings Park Festival in September 2021 when thousands of native wildflowers are in full bloom. We will take you to bushland areas that few visitors and locals see as we ride along a specially chosen route to view wild flower hot spots. The route has been carefully curated to ensure we avoid major hills and keep the route as flat and enjoyable as possible.
We travel along remote paths and difficult to reach areas of the Kings Park bushland where you will see everlastings and wild flower groves, tree lined avenues dedicated to our fallen soldiers and views of the city skyline, all from the comfort of your easy to ride touring bike.

The tour is designed to be taken at a slow pace and get you out to see different parts of Kings Park that you might otherwise never see all while enjoying the fabulous display of spring wildflowers.
Ride Rating – EASY

This tour involves some hills and you need to be able to exercise with some periods of increased heartrate.
At any time you can dismount and walk your bike up the hill if you want to.
As a reference you could do this tour if you rode a few times a year and are an active person.

Approximately 7 km ride over 2 hours. The tour includes many stops.

Evening City Lights bike tour with a complimentary wine

On this very gentle ride that is all on flat cycle paths you will have the chance to explore Perth's iconic foreshore.
Pop across on the South Perth ferry after work. We start our tour on the South Perth foreshore heading towards the causeway. Along the way we stop to explore some hidden wetlands and learn about a few of Perth historical locations. We continue and cross the new 91.5 million US dollar Matagarup bridge in front of the photogenic Optus stadium.
A quick photo stop in Claisebrook cove before returning via the causeway to South Perth. We watch the sunset over beautiful Perth skyline with a complimentary wine, beer, soft drink and some nibbles.


Ride Rating – EASY


The tour is on very flat cycle paths and we stop for photos and to enjoy the experience. You just need basic fitness to allow about 60 minutes of light exercise. As a reference you could do this tour if can ride a bike and are an active person.

The newly curated Boab, Bikes & Bees Bike Tour captures all of the compelling, informative and fun elements of our highly successful previous years whilst taking you on a new route and direction through the wildflower hot spots of Kings Park.

Our modern, easy to ride, comfortable tour bikes will take you along a specially chosen route of remote paths into the more difficult to reach areas of the Kings Park bushland that few visitors and locals see.
The visual smorgasbord of everlastings, wildflower groves and flowering native orchids are tempered with tree lined avenues dedicated to our fallen soldiers and views of the city skyline.

Ride rating:

Whilst the route has been carefully curated it is a little more challenging than the Pedals & Petals Bike Tour.
We will be riding some uphill sections but do stop regularly for breaks and discussions.
You should be prepared to exercise with some periods of increased heart rate. Feel free to dismount and walk your bike up a hill if you need to or want to.
As a reference this tour would be suitable for those that are active or ride a couple of times a month. Duration & distance

Perth Bike Tour - Majestic Foreshores and East Perth Loop

Come and join our award winning company on a fabulous guided bike tour and discover some of Perth’s majestic foreshores. This gentle ride utilises Perth's comprehensive network of modern cycle paths leaving you the opportunity to explore and absorb the scenic and very photogenic locations.
This fun, vibrant and wonderfully engaging tour starts under the watchful eyes of the giant frill neck lizard and numbat public artworks at the Mindeerup piazza, South Perth’s foreshore gateway. From here we peddle a specially chosen route that has been carefully curated to ensure we avoid major hills, keeping the route as flat and enjoyable as possible.
Heading towards the Causeway bridge, we stop and explore some hidden wetlands, learn about historical locations whilst observing some incredible bird life. We continue on into the photogenic Optus Stadium hub and across the very iconic Matagarup bridge and into Claisebrook Cove for a cafe break. We enjoy the lovely waterscapes of this vibrant hub and spend time discovering a significant location for the local Noongar people of the area.
Our ride back takes us through the waterfront precinct of Elizabeth Quay, an area that brings the city and river together. Here your guide will highlight some of Perth's more urban and modern locations including the unique and distinctive Bell Tower.
We finish our tour with a gentle ride over the Narrows Bridge and back to the South Perth foreshore.

Perth Bike Tour: Beautiful Kings Park and Matilda Bay Bike Tour

The tour starts under the watchful eyes of the giant frill neck lizard and numbat public artworks at the Mindeerup piazza, South Perth’s foreshore gateway. From here we cycle over the Narrows Bridge and around the river towards the Matilda Bay parkland next to the University of WA. Along the way our passionate and experienced guides share the areas’ historical, cultural, geographical and horticultural secrets with you.
We continue our adventure and take you into the beating heart of iconic Kings Park's bushland and botanical garden areas. Stopping for a well earned cafe break, we explore this unique bio-diversity hotspot on foot allowing plenty of time to take some incredible photos of the scenery, wildflowers and flowering plants.
Jumping back on our comfortable and easy to ride touring bikes we make our way via a network of scenic paths through the beautiful John Oldham Park to finish our day at the South Perth foreshore.

Our passionate and experienced guides will share with you the areas’ historical, cultural, geographical, horticultural and of course, brewing secrets.
This fun, vibrant and wonderfully engaging tour starts under the watchful eyes of the giant frill neck lizard and numbat public artworks at the Mindeerup piazza, South Perth’s foreshore gateway. From here we head towards the Causeway, stopping to explore some hidden wetlands, learn about historical locations whilst observing some incredible bird life.
We continue on into the photogenic Optus Stadium hub, past Australia’s largest pub, The Camfield and across the now iconic Matagarup bridge and into Claisebrook Cove. We enjoy the lovely waterscapes of this vibrant hub as we weave our way into East Perth and discover one of Perth's newest micro breweries, "The Bright Tank". With a great, fresh range of craft beers, it is a naughty but very nice half way stop to enjoy a tasting paddle of beers or cider.
Our ride back takes us via the exciting and new Long Neck Brewery where we again try a tasting paddle before riding back over the Causeway to the South Perth foreshore at Mends Street where we say goodbye.
For those of you who are inclined, Ogdens Brewery in the newly refurbished Windsor Hotel is only metres away and their made-in-house craft beers may assist is satiating your thirst. You may want to forward plan this part and book a table for dinner. If you are feeling guilty about a few small beers, we have worked some of those calories off during the ride

Bike and Brew for two - Guided bike tour of Perth foreshores and micro breweries

Craft brewing has exploded over the last few years in Perth, with a number of new hot spots opening up along the Swan River, each offering a variety of options for beer lovers. On this Bike and Brew guided bike tour enjoy the magnificent views along Perth’s river foreshores plus visit some of these wonderful craft breweries.
We start our tour on the South Perth foreshore heading towards the causeway. Our first brewery stop and tasting is Blasta Brewing Co. This large and impress micro brewery has an urban feel with a beautiful beer garden. The beers change regularly but are imaginative and delicious. Names like Rampant Raspberry, Tangerine Dreams and Grimster Pale Ale make your mouth water and they do live up to their reputation.
We enjoy a paddle here and taste several different beers or ciders. Otherwise you can order a soft drink if you wish.
Back on our bike we journey past "The Camfield", Australia's largest pub which can boast about its large microbrewery on site,175 beer taps, 4 great sitting areas all in a magnificent setting. We do not taste any beers here.
We then continue and cross the new Matagarup bridge in front of the photogenic Optus stadium.
We ride through Claisebrook Cove and weave our way into East Perth to find one of Perth's newest microbreweries "The Bright Tank". With a great and fresh range of beers it is a fun half way stop with another tasting paddle to explore. Here we select a interesting range of beers, ales or ciders for your paddle. Before jumping back on our bikes select a 2 cans each from their normal range to enjoy when you get back home.
## Please note that we intend to visit these Breweries but at times these venues are booked out or closed. As such we will have an alternate plan.##
We then head back via the causeway before finishing the tour at our start point. After the tour finishes you can walk across the road to the newly refurbished Windsor Hotel where Ogdens Brewery is providing freshly brewed, delicious craft beers’ made on-premise. (There are no tastings provided here).
So don't feel guilty about a few small beers, we will work the calories off during the ride.
