1 Hour private group horse riding lesson for all ages and abilities, perfect if you'd like to come out with family and friends and enjoy a lesson together!
We love to teach you exclusively for 1 hour, we have a format for this lesson however as it is a private lesson we have the flexibility to tailor this experience to your needs, experience level and own abilities. We can cover basic riding all the way up to high levels of horsemanship, Polocrosse, showjumping and dressage. We have a wide range of horses and ponies of all heights sizes and abilities to help you have the most pleasurable tailor-made unique experience.
Horses are Good for the Soul so we love to help people to build self confidence, face their fears and do it anyway and learn to safely ride a horse and above all have a bunch of FUN.
This experience is truely catered and tailored for each individuals needs and abilities. It is a exclusive group riding lesson which means it is only the group you book to come and ride with in the lesson.

After your horse ride, return to the stables and feast on a tasty grazing board and enjoy a glass of local wine at our beautifully set banquet table. Relax and soak in the ambiance of horses and our stunning setting while you delight in a homemade selection of local produce. This is a real treat, excellent for celebrating special occasions.

Our Pony Camp is for children from 6 - 12 years old and any experience level as we have a selection of horses and ponies to pair them up with. For those 12+ please call/email about our Horse Camp session.
We run a range of different activities during the day including Horsemanship, Polocrosse, Jumping, with a little gymkhana and trail ride around the Jarrahdale Hills too! No food is provided , please bring your own lunch and a morning tea to share. Parents are welcome to arrive at 2.30pm to watch the Gymkhana and join in on the laughs.

Wondering how to prepare for your ride?

The wearing of Helmets is compulsory , and these will be provided by Jarrahdale Equestrian if you don’t already have your own. Long hair must be tied back and we recommend a simple plait or low pony tail.

Please come dressed to ride, wearing full length pants (jeans/leggings etc) and closed in shoes with a slight heel and a smooth sole, sneakers will be suitable. Singlets or shorts are NOT safe to ride in, if wearing incorrect attire you will not be permitted to ride and your ride will be cancelled, with no refund applicable.

You will need to register as a rider with us prior to your ride. If you do this online and fill out your insurance forms before you arrive it will save time on the day, otherwise make sure to give yourself additional time to complete this out here at the stables to avoid cutting into your ride time. https://jarrahdaleequestrian.com.au/register/

We appreciate your understanding.

Our rides will start on time and be limited to the session you have booked so we recommend arriving 5-10 minutes early for all session. If arriving late your session will not be extended and you will be cutting into your ride time. No refund will be applicable for shorter sessions.
